#8 Better Sex Life
Everyone has had those moments of, “No I just want to go to bed I am way too tired.” They suck, and the only way to fix that is to get more sleep! Take naps if you have spare time; instead of going out one night stay in and get some sleep! You’ll be amazed at to how better your sex life will be and how much more energy you’ll be given to use towards….. you know.
#7 Lower Risk Of Injury
Sleep is needed to stay alert and active in times that could revolve around getting injured. Maybe you are climbing up and down the steps and you accidentally trip over yourself and break an arm. I bet if you slept longer you’d be able to focus on your typical movements you make everyday. Get some rest before you go do anything that involves risks, you’ll be more attentive and the risk of injury will drop dramatically.
#6 Helps Your Immune System
Sleep is always good for your health. It helps fight out colds, flu, and other sicknesses which make you feel like the picture above. Sleep can allow your body extra rest that is key in fighting those grueling sicknesses. Feeling a little under the weather? Take a nap and drink some orange juice!
#5 Feel the Positive Energy
With sleep comes energy, we all know that. Energy can be used for anything you want; working out, spending time with friends, at your job, or anything along those lines. Sleep can heal your body from all that hard work you’ve put on your body, and make you want to go out and do something like that again! With energy, you can do anything you want!

#3 Sleep Keeps You Alert
Now going off of what I said before about risk of injury, sleep is also a key factor in keeping you safe. Whether that be public transportation, or just walking alone by yourself, if you are sleep deprived you are more likely to not focus on things that normally someone with plenty of sleep would catch, such as a person following you, or thieves trying to steal your belongings, to even accidentally walking into traffic while heading home from work, or your risk of losing focus while driving.
#2 It Helps Your Weight
Sleep and weight loss have always been connected and studied that they are linked. Studies have shown that people who lack in sleep also have a an effect on slowing your metabolism down, which is definitely a factor in weight loss and weight gain. Need an excuse to take a snooze? Just use this to your man and he’ll most likely let you sleep instead of going out…. Maybe
#1 You’ll Live Longer
Sleep and your life span have always been linked together. T he reason behind this is sleep can continue to make you more healthy. Like mentioned before, a healthy immune system is a healthy person, and a healthy person has the ability to fight harmful virus’s that are within our atmosphere. Sleep and cancer related illnesses have been linked but not proven officially. Regardless, if you are choosing to do things that you enjoy but significantly result in a lack of sleep, you may want to rethink that specific activity and change it out for sleep! Your body will thank you, and so will your loved ones for being with them longer!
