Baking is a great hobby that you’ll be able to use the rest of your life! It can also save you money instead of purchasing goods at a store, plus you get the good feeling of turning a bunch of ingredients into a delicious snack or dessert!
#8 Couponing
Have you seen that show Extreme Couponing where the family spends hours and hours couponing throughout the month and then goes on those huge shopping trips and get $1,000 of food for free?!? Well I am not saying that you can create results like this, but if you spend 15 minutes going through ads, you could likely save a good 60% off your bill if you keep it consistent and strategize your shopping!
#7 Photography/Scrapbooking
Photography should be a hobby of anybody, male or female. If you went to Europe and all the exotic locations around the world, you’d want to remember it, right? With photography, you can capture all of your amazing experiences on camera and put them into a decorative scrapbook that you also create! The memories will remain forever in your possession and you will never forget your life experiences because they’ll all be in a book!

Whether you decide to create a blog, or just have your own secret notebook, journaling is a great hobby to get into. Having a notebook that only you can read can help you manage your time, see all the activities you’ve been up to and recorded, and writing can also release tension and stress. We’ve all had those moments we want to talk to someone, well, why not write about it instead? Try journaling the next time you’re upset about something!

Gardening is a great hobby to start doing no matter what age you are; it is not just for parents or older people, anyone can start a garden! Having a garden will improve your responsibility as it improves your health! Why not feel accomplished in eating a fresh tomato you grew in your very own garden? Save money, eat better, and learn some valuable skills that you can use the rest of your life!

The benefits of adding yoga as a hobby are too long to talk about, but I will do my best to narrow it down. YOGA IS GREAT FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. Flexibility, mental standpoint, focus, concentration, and strength are just some of the many benefits that comes with doing yoga. Get a group of friends together or join a class- you will be so glad you did!
#3 Foreign Language
The language barrier can come in the way of so many possible doors and opportunities. If you learn a language of your liking, such as Spanish, French, or Chinese, the skill can better your life personally, socially, and even financially! Companies are always looking for people who know more than one language. Spending an hour learning a language per day for a year can create so many open doors in your professional, and personal career!

Running is a great hobby for the obvious reasons of personal fitness. Although another great thing about running as part of a hobby is the amount of stress and frustration that it can release if you are stressed. Running is a great way to get all that anger out if work is upsetting you, or you are having boy problems! Give it a try the next time you’re stressing out. Your body and mind will thank you after!

Learning how to knit is a great hobby to get into. With yarn being somewhat inexpensive (if you buy large quantities at one time) the starting price is very respectable! To knit you must have different sized knitting needles, which will likely be your greatest cost. Not to worry though, all the creative things you can make will save you loads of money!
