#10 Abbey Road
One of the most famous photos of The Beatles is this which shows the band all walking across a crossing near the Abbey Road studios which is where they recorded most of their songs. The meaning behind the photo is disputed but the brilliance of it remains.
#9 Table Tennis

#8 Beatlemania
1963 Was the year that the Beatles toured Britain four times and was the year that they were first starting to rise to fame, and so they did, quickly. Beatlemania had begun; this image shows the four members of the band on the ladders of an aircraft in ’63.
#7 The Final
This is one of the many images of The Beatles performing their last commercial show on what they decided would be their last tour in 1966. The photo perfectly captures the brilliant chaos that was prevailed in every one of their tour performances.
#6 Royal Variety
In 1963 the much loved band performed at the royal variety show in full view of Princess Margaret and the Queens mother. It was during this performance at the Royal Variety that John Lennon uttered the famous line “the people in the cheaper seats, clap your hands. The rest of you, if you’d just rattle your jewellery.”
#5 Meeting Muhammad Ali
This photo shows the moment that the boys met Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali), the world famous boxer in the US in 1964. It has been reported that the boys left the photo shoot angrily after being outshined and looked down on by Ali.
#4 The Ed Sullivan Show
The Beatles performed their first live American television performance in February of 1964 on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show’ which was watched by millions of viewers. One of the first British bands to successfully take on America, this photo was captured mid performance during the show and reveals the lovable boys doing what they did best.
#3 Washington
What an absolutely beautiful picture. This captures The Beatles performing in Washington DC in February of 1964. Showing the absolutely massive audience that had turned up to see them play, the chaos in this picture can only be imagined.
#2 Roofttop Concert
The final live performance from all four of The Beatles took place in January, of 1969 on a London rooftop. Beatlemania was slowly dwindling after many rows between band members and high tensions, however they never let those tensions affect their performances. Every single member could be described as no less than brilliant.
#1 First Recording Session
This image could be one of the most brilliant pictures of The Beatles of all time. It shows them in the year of 1962, before they were massively famous at their first recording session in Abbey Road Studios. After many rejections from different recording companies, they defied the odds that seemed to be stacked against them and became superstars.
